Hard to Watch PDF Print E-mail

After the dreadful game the Bruins played tonight I felt I would like to vent some thoughts that have been building up for awhile. The Bruins organization should be absolutley embarrassed for their performance tonight, because as a fan I am sickened. What really bothers me from the other night is their star player Marc Savard was creamed and nobody on the team did a bloody thing. Wideman and Ryder were on the ice and they just kind of gave Cooke some love taps after the whistle. Tonights game was just terrible, the Bruins on a night remembering the beloved 1970 team, came out and got shut out at home. I would have liked to have seen them pick on Cooke a little bit. Is Lucic hurt? He appears to be hurt, or perhaps he isn't that good? I think he is good, I am going to chalk it up as it as an off year. 5 goals and -11. He is a liability to the team. He feel he doesn't throw the body like he used to and doesn't fight nearly enough. He used to be a force and would take games over last year with his style. Now he has the big contract and is playing like a 4th liner who should be scratched on most nights.
