News:

• Three people were seriously injured when a bus carrying the AHL’s Albany River Rats rolled on its side on Interstate 90 in western Massachusetts early Thursday, state police said.
• Craig Custance of the Sportingnews has collated a list of the NHL’s 10 biggest failures.
• The owner of the Phoenix Coyotes has confirmed news reports that the team has received expressions of interest from potential investors in the team.
• Paul Mara (Rangers – D) MRI came back showing no major damage to his shoulder.
• Patrick Sharp (Blackhawks – C) Placed on IR with knee injury.
• Peter Forsberg suffered another setback, and is rumored to be considering retirement.
• New Penguins coach puts his team through a hard 3 hour practice.  The Pittsburgh Penguins skated, worked on the power play, gathered at the chalk board. They worked on the penalty kill, skated, and returned to the chalk board.
