The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Ryan Suter to a 4 year, $14 Million dollar contract today.
David Poile, Predators General Manager said of Suter…
“Usually, when you have the best defense, I think that gives you a real good chance to compete for the prize, and that’s ultimately what we want to do. That’s why we’re here today, and that’s why we’ve taken another step in signing one of our core players in Ryan Suter.”

The Predators have a young team and are in the process of trying to tie up their young players to new contracts, including Shea Webber and netminder Dan Ellis.
