webhosting
• Free website hosting for newcomers to making websites or even exprerienced webmasters.
• 300Mb of Storage Space
• 10Gb / Month Bandwidth
• Limit 5 Databases / Domains
• Free sub-domain
• Support from the site webmaster and other members in our forums.
A new and up coming free web host that aims to help people new to creating a website or forum.
With there being many free web hosts out there, this one is not much better, but it stands out with the aim of its webmaster. Rather then just giving out webspace or even just letting those that sign up just use unlimited resources and leave them left to figure out what they need or want to do, he aims to give out good yet limited web space with the thought that those new to being a webmaster will not need tons and tons of space or bandwidth and with that space to supply help and a helpful community to help newcomers to websites get started.
The community has will be set up to have tutorials, help sections, and show off sections for the members of the site, and from there the users can then get help and suggestions from the webmaster, moderators, and the other members of the community.
The site does add google ad sense ads to each of the users website, but will in the future have many ways to remove them. Some notable ones will be the obvious one of paying, but uniquely it will be a one time payment and also there is plans to give away ad removal by way of contests on the site. The info on such contests or what they may be has yet to be determined or expressed in any way.
The site also boasts a joomla powered site with SMF forums. It is uses a wonderful theme for joomla making the site easy on the eyes as well as easy to navigate. The smf forums are set up with a nice theme to put the menu and navigational links on the left side of them with the forums and the statitics on the left. The site is also currently looking for moderators for the forum to help keep the forums organized and clean, to also help the users of the site, make tutorials for the forums and for the members to user, and to also help advertise the site to bring new members to a site where they can have a site hosted for free where they will get help for starting out.
webhosting
The site makes note that it is for those getting started or for those that want to host a small site, that it is a good place to get started and not a place to try and build a huge site.
If a site becomes popular, they will try to help a user find or move to a new host, but there is no guarantee on how much they can help.

Many athletes through their careers are encouraged to participate in charity events to give back to the world. Many have started foundations in their name to devote awareness, money and time to causes they believe in. Many of them do charity events from education to social awareness it’s whatever cause that’s close to their heart many of them do charity causes that are of a personal nature because of someone they know or a loved one that may have been stricken with a disease or illness to bring awareness for cures. Many of them will go out into the community to volunteer their time by hosting events or holding events in their name for specific causes. This is one of the many things the NHL stands behind is the players giving back to the community and being role models to the kids who look up to them. There are some players who don’t need to be in the league if they can’t exhibit behavior of a real role model to kids who look up to them.
The bad thing is that the athletes who engage in lifestyles that result in negative publicity this is what hurts not only them, but the reputation they stand behind if they have charity foundations in their name. There’s too many athletes to name individually who have foundations in their hands, but you usually know they’re out there on that players’ respective website. It’s always important to keep in mind that charity events also provide a chance for players to connect with their fans because without the fans they’ll be nothing since fans make the star and the star’s way to thank the people behind him since the worst thing to do is ruin that reputation with scandalous behavior and lifestyle choices. Athletes that are really about making a difference will not engage in things that will bring negative publicity to them.
Some athletes as a part of their charity work is to volunteer their time to sports clinics where children and young adults can take part in. This gives kids the chance to meet some of their favorite players and to have a chance to hang out with them for a few hours and learn a few tricks of the sport. It’s proven that kids who have positive role models fair better than those who don’t have exposure or someone they can call a role model. It’s important for many of these athletes to understand the roles they step into when they become famous and popular because part of being a celebrity is to take what is considered a respectable thing and use it for the greater good of other people.
The idea of charity work was something that’s always been a long standing tradition with many of the professional sports leagues because there’s a huge responsibility behind making a lot of money, but you also have to understand that there are people in the world less fortunate and many of these athletes especially ones who are new to the world of pro sports they have no clue to what it means to be charitable until it’s explained to them over time. Most of the time groupies will pull no stops especially for athletes who do charitable things on behalf of the team and their private foundations. You can find the charity websites of athletes on their official websites.

Hi guys, Sam here, admin of 2 Minutes For Hockey.
I’ve been run off my feet with my 8th wedding anniversary the last 2 days so have not had a chance to do a full update of the hockey videos and blog. I did however do a small update earlier today with some great videos including the following great clip of Kari Lehtonen of the Atlanta Thrashers completely stoning Alexander Ovechkin in todays regular season match up.
I intend to continue with the regular updates as of tomorrow.
Thanks for understanding,
~ Sam

We are pround to announce the launch of the NEW 2 Minutes For Hockey Video Network.

There have been a few changes to the website. We have removed the Community Builder feature and private messaging, as neither of these features were widely used by members. Accounts from the old account have been imported over to the new site and should work fine. If you have troubles logging in, please contact me.

Important Notice:
We have been experiencing technical difficulties with the 2 Minutes For Hockey Video website over the last few days. We had originally planned to revert to a backup copy of the site, however due to unforeseeable errors, that failed to correct the problem.
In light of this issue, I have decided the best move would be to completely rebuild the site from the ground up giving it an exciting new look and feel.
We don’t expect the process to take too long, however the site could be offline for up to a week while we work behind the scenes.
Thank you for your patience,
Sam
